NATURE OF TOMORROW
Within his series 'NATURE OF TOMORROW', McFaul explores the connotations between our continued expanded immersion into technology and the subsequent effects that it has on our relationship with the natural world around us. Technology to some in many ways is the cure to the ailments of the world but subsequently, more often than not it is the rooted disruption. Through our constant drive to amass continuingly dwindling resources that permanently scar nature's once pure and undisturbed landscape.

The imagery combines a myriad of different skills and techniques including the blending of photogrammetry and dynamic computer-generated image (CGI) rendering. This series is currently ongoing and will be expanded upon through the use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to immerse the observer into a familiar yet alien environment that aims to make them consider the link between our perception of reality and that of reality itself. (This project aims to be resumed in June 2021 so check back for updates on the blog)
